This plan has been well thought through. It has been tested and debated in advance. After all, you need to get your facts right before moving forward.
Predicting and monitoring the numbers of visitors to the beach and the shopping centre. Thanks to smart technologies, these levels can be monitored at various locations within our coastal region.
Particular efforts in relation to sanitary installations, throughout the region. As well as the usual five, fixed locations on the beach, we will also install extra sanitary facilities.
A clear directional/circulation plan for Zeedijk and the shopping centre. Here you can view the circulation plan.
A clear and widely disseminated communication campaign. You can find all the information here. On the streets, you will also see clear signs in the green Safe Summer colour. These indicate the way to walk on the street and on the Zeedijk, they make the rules very clear. Do you have any questions or comments? Find the coaches on the street, they will be glad to help you.
From Monday, July 27, 2020 at 8 a.m., it is mandatory to wear a face mask in De Panne, Koksijde and Nieuwpoort (people over the age of 12).
We have also adapted the summer programme to the corona measures and combined the details in a summer booklet. You can find a copy at the De Panne Tourist Office.
This summer is the ideal opportunity to discover new places in our lovely town. Why not surprise yourself!
